I was at the airport in Yekaterinburg, connecting on my journey from Moscow to Blagoveshchensk and remembering the warm days of my vacation in Goa. I did not want to return to my cold hometown or to everyday work. During my two-week vacation, tasks had piled up, and I dreaded how much there was to do.
Although I love my travel agency and think of it as my second child, I was not looking forward to going home.
I put on my headphones and logged into my familiar account at the Academy of True Success, where I had been studying actively for a year and a half. I listened to the Platinum Group lectures I had missed and to Mykola’s podcasts, which usually start my day. By the time I boarded the plane late that night, I had a work plan, a completely different outlook, and renewed enthusiasm.
I work closely with people, and emotional burnout is a risk in a business built on personal relationships. The Academy of True Success gives me encouragement and inspires me to keep moving forward.
Despite fierce competition in our small town’s travel industry, my agency ranks among the top five in sales.
Over the past year, I have begun recording podcasts and doing live broadcasts. Before joining the Platinum Group last year, I could not even imagine appearing on camera.
I realized how important it is to be transparent and authentic with colleagues, clients, and family members.
Taking 100% responsibility for my life may seem like a simple realization, but it helped improve my relationship with my husband. We are business partners as well as spouses and spend 24 hours a day together.
My day begins and ends with gratitude for life, for its opportunities, and for the opportunities that come from being part of Mykola Latansky’s inspiring community.
